The two are also to focus on the future of the EU and the threat of Great Britain leaving the EU, or the so-called Brexit, and joint efforts aimed to solve crises in Syria, Libya, and the Horn of Africa, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Artur Dmochowski told PAP on Sunday.
Minister Waszczykowski is also scheduled to lay a wreath at the monument to Polish interwar leader Marshal Jozef Pilsudski and at the Polish War Cemetery at Monte Cassino. A meeting with representatives of the Polish diaspora in Italy is also planned.
Last week Minister Waszczykowski and PM Office head Beata Kempa visited the Vatican to discuss the prepartations to the July World Youth Day event in Krakow, south Poland, to be attended by Pope Francis. (PAP)
