Pole injured by knife attacker in Amsterdam
Five people were wounded in a stabbing incident in the Dutch capital on Thursday, including a Polish man, two Americans, a Belgian woman and a Dutch woman, the mayor of Amsterdam has said.

Femke Halsema said in a statement that police investigation was underway and hoped to reveal more details about the crime soon.
The Dutch police have not provided any information about the condition of the wounded.
Pawel Wronski, a spokesperson for the Polish foreign ministry, said that the 26-year-old Pole had received medical assistance.
The incident occurred in late afternoon in central Amsterdam. The attacker was apprehended within minutes by a bystander.
The Dutch authorities have not established the motive behind the attack but are considering a scenario where the knife-wielding assailant chose random victims.
The AP news agency wrote that last year, Amsterdam witnessed a number of stabbings by sufferers of mental disorders. (PAP)
