Poland's Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) rose to 50.6 points in February, exceeding the 50-point mark that signifies industrial growth for the first time since April 2022, S&P Global reported on Monday.

"And there we have it!," Tusk wrote on the X platform on Monday. "For the first time in three years, the PMI (is) over 50 points, so the recovery in Polish industry is becoming a fact! It sounds technical, but believe me, it's really good news."

The headline PMI is a composite indicator of manufacturing performance derived from indicators for new orders, output, employment, suppliers' delivery times and stocks of purchases. (PAP)
