Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said at a joint press conference with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Warsaw on Thursday that the West should lift limitations on the use of long-range Western weapons by Ukraine in its war against Russia.

"We should continue to deliver (Ukraine -PAP) advanced air defence systems... and lift restrictions on the use of long-range weapons," Sikorski said. During the talks on Thursday, the top diplomats also addressed the harmful Russian influence in the region and possible joint efforts to counter it.

Aside from meeting with Sikorski, Blinken discussed security issues during talks with Polish President Andrzej Duda. (PAP)
