In one of the most remarkable EHF Champions League Finals, Poland's Vive Tauron Kielce took their first ever trophy and became the first Polish Champions League winners.

This has been the greatest success achieved by a Polish handball team ever.

Vive Tauron Kielce beat MVM Veszprem of Hungary 39-38 (13-17, 29-29, 35-35) and became the first team to win the EHF Champions League Finals after a penalty shoot-out. (PAP)
