Poland wins three medals at Portland championships

Polish athletes won three medals at the Sunday-ended world indoor championships in Portland, USA.

Poland's 4 x 400m relay team (Ewelina Ptak, Malgorzata Holub, Magdalena Gorzykowska and Justyna Swiety) won the silver medal.

Kamila Licwinko won the bronze medal in women's high jump and Piotr Lisek also bronze in men's pole vault.

Poland came 16th in the overall medal table. (PAP)
