The leaders signed the agreement on Thursday during NATO's 75th anniversary summit in Washington, DC.
"The aim is to establish cooperation in the development of a key deep-impact capability and, in the future, joint projects on specific measures to close gaps, reduce costs and lead times," the ministry wrote.
According to Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, Poland's defence minister, the cooperation will enable the exchange of expertise and joint purchase of missiles that "are already being developed."
"We are counting on more countries to join, I would not like to limit myself to these four," he said. "We will see the results over the next 12 months." (PAP)
