According to GUS, 872,000 foreigners entered Poland from Ukraine in November against 699,000 a year ago, up by 25 percent.
Meanwhile the number of foreigners coming from Belarus and Russia is falling. In November, the Belarus-Polish border was crossed by 256,000 foreigners against 289,000 a year ago.
A similar trend may be observed on the Polish-Russian border where the number of foreigners entering Poland fell to 101,000 in November from 136,000 in November 2014. (PAP)
