Polish-made Trollino MetroStyle trolleybuses have joined the public transport fleet in Esslingen, Germany, Trollino manufacturer Solaris has informed.

The vehicles are equipped with lithium-titanium batteries enabling their progress without overhead traction lines. Each Trollino offers 43 seats and can take a total of 110 passengers.

Solaris trolleybuses are present in Germany since 2010, 12 articulated Trollino 18 vehicles are in use in Eberswalde. (PAP)
