Speaking about international cooperation, Rau mentioned three formats. The first is Poland's presence in the region as part of the Visegrad Group or the Three Seas Initiative. The second is trans-Atlantic relations and the third is the country's strong engagement in the EU.
The Visegrad Group is a platform of regional cooperation of four eastern EU members: the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, whereas the Three Seas initiative is a joint project of the Polish and Croatian presidents that brings together twelve countries situated between the Adriatic, Baltic and Black Seas.
"There will be a continuation of the current foreign policy and the directions set in the previous months and years. Of course, the actions will be coordinated between the government and the president," Rau said. (PAP)
