Polish FM thanks outgoing Ukrainian ambassador for his service

Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, thanked Ukrainian ambassador Vasyl Zwarycz, who is ending his mission in Poland.

In June, the press office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he had recalled the Ukrainian ambassador to Poland. Zwarycz will now take up a post in the Czech Republic.

"Minister Radoslaw Sikorski today bade farewell to Ambassador Vasyl Zwarycz of Ukraine, who is completing his mission in Poland," the ministry wrote on the X platform on Friday.

It added: "We thank the Ambassador for two years of intensive work for Polish-Ukrainian relations and wish him every success in his post in the Czech Republic." (PAP)
